About Competition
This Competition Is Being Held By Krushnabharti Charitable Trust For Past 20 Years In Memory Of Late Dr. Prabhakar K. Patwardhan To Promote Chess Among Youth And To Encourage Them. Late Dr. Prabhakar Patwardhan A Well Known Surgeon Was Passionate About Chess And Always Wanted To Spread This Sport Among Youth. This Competition Has Given Opportunity To Many Chess Lovers To Test And Prove Their Metal.

COMPETITION SUMMARY
कृष्णभारती चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्ट च्या वतीने डॉ.पटवर्धन स्मृती चषक बुद्धिबळ स्पर्धा रायगड जिल्हा बुद्धिबळ संघटनेच्या मान्यतेने वासुदेव बळवंत फडके विद्यालय पनवेल येथे दिनांक 30/04/2023(रवीवार) रोजी पनवेल येथे घेण्यातआली. बुद्धिबळ स्पर्धेत सातारा,माणगांव, खोपोली,कर्जत,अलिबाग,पनवेल,उरण,मुंबई,कल्याण येथील 140 स्पर्धकांनी भाग घेतला.स्पर्धेचे उद्घाटन कृष्णभारती चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्टचे विश्वस्त उदय टिळक तसेच उत्कल घाडगे यांच्या हस्ते करण्यात आले. त्याप्रसंगी पनवेल चेस असोसीएशनचे सेक्रेटरी सी.एन.पाटील पनवेल यांनी कृष्णभारती चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्ट तर्फे घेण्यात येणाऱ्या डॉ.पटवर्धन चषक बुद्धिबळ स्पर्धेत पनवेल मधील खेळाडूंना मानांकित खेळाडूंबरोबर सरावाची सुवर्णसंधी मिळते तिचा फायदा घेऊन पनवेलचा नावलौकिक वाढवावा असे आवाहन केले.तसेच सदर स्पर्धेस गतवैभव प्राप्त करण्यासाठी लागणारी मदत पनवेल चेस असोसीएशनतर्फे करण्याचे आश्वासन दिले. प्रमुख पंच म्हणून श्री. सिद्धेश ठिक , तर सहाय्यक पंच चंद्रशेखर पाटील,चेतन म्हात्रे,सार्थक मिंडे,श्रेयस पाटील ,विकास घातुगडे,विजय ठिक यांनी काम पाहीले. बक्षिस वितरणासाठी महाराष्ट्र बुद्धिबळ संघटनेचे खजिनदार श्री विलास म्हात्रे , पनवेल चेस असोसीएशनचे उपाध्यक्ष
समीर परांजपे ,कृष्णभारती चॅरिटेबल ट्रस्टचे विश्वस्त उदय टिळक , राकेश फाटक ,खोपोली रोटरीयन मिलींद बोधनकर आदि मान्यवर उपस्थित होते . स्पर्धा अत्यंत उत्साहात व खेळीमेळीच्या वातावरणात पार पडली. स्पर्धेत 26 स्पर्धकांना पारितोषिक देऊन गौरविण्यात आले सर्वांना सहभागी प्रमाणपत्र ऑनलाइन देण्यात आले .
